Here’s a quick rundown of what’s been happening on DeadlandZ UK this week. We’ve been busy behind the scenes cleaning things up, improving performance, and adding a few new features to make your time in Knox County smoother and more immersive.

🧹 CLEAN-UP & PERFORMANCE ENHANCEMENTS

We’ve carried out a number of server clean-ups and performance improvements to help keep things running smoothly.

🔧 KI5PerfPatch has also been added — in simple terms, this helps optimise some of the vehicle-related mod data behind the scenes, reducing unnecessary strain and helping improve overall server performance.

❄️ IMMERSIVE SNOW SYSTEM

Winter is getting a little more... immersive! ☃️

The new Immersive Snow system adds more depth to snowy weather and winter conditions, making the world feel more dynamic and atmospheric as the temperatures drop.

Expect snow to feel less like a simple weather effect and more like something that's actually happening around you. ❄️🌨️

🚗 NEW VEHICLE — KI5 VW GOLF MK2 '92

We've also got a new ride joining the fleet!

🚙 KI5 Volkswagen Golf Mk2 — 1992

A classic little survivor-mobile has been added as a replacement vehicle, giving you another option for getting around the apocalypse in style. 😎

🐕 COMPANION DOGS — TEMPORARILY REMOVED

Unfortunately, our Companion Dogs have been removed for now due to performance issues.

We're still investigating the cause and looking into whether we can get them working reliably without negatively affecting server performance.

Don't worry — this isn't necessarily goodbye to the dogs! 🐕❤️We'll keep you updated if we're able to bring them back.
